The first Canadian TaxAssist Accountants franchisee, Moe Farhat, has bought the Master Franchise rights from QX Global Group and has ambitious plans to grow the franchise network to its full potential.
Moe (pictured above right with Daren Moore, TaxAssist Group Chief Executive Officer) has over 25 years’ experience in accounting, business and finance and currently operates a TaxAssist Accountants franchise from a storefront in Griesbach, Edmonton, Alberta, which will also act as the new TaxAssist Accountants Support Centre. Moe’s staff will also be supporting the franchise network.
“It’s been a long-held dream to build a business across Canada and this is now a reality with the enormous potential that TaxAssist offers,” said Moe.
“I’m really looking forward to travelling to the UK based Support Centre later in the month for Master Franchisee training, and then sharing my experiences and discussing the opportunity with new TaxAssist Accountants.
“Having launched the first Canadian TaxAssist Accountants storefront myself, I can personally vouch for how just how effective the business model is and I plan to open a second storefront by the end of the year, having recently purchased an accounting firm in Edmonton."
TaxAssist Accountants launched in Canada in January 2021 and currently has other franchisees operating in Toronto and Leduc.
The franchise opportunity will appeal to CPA-qualified accountants working in industry, full-time tax preparers looking to scale up their business, individuals with strong financial services or banking background, as well as those that already own an accounting or tax practice they wish to develop as part of a global brand.
